“I used to feel powerless, but now I am powerful”


I grew up with a love for food – I have so many memories of being in the kitchen with my parents, cooking, and making new recipes together as a family. We made everything from live crab to homemade pasta. To put it simply, I loved food and always had a passion for it.

However, my love for food morphed into an intense fear when I developed an eating disorder as a 10-year-old after losing a family member to cancer. Thankfully, I recovered and enjoyed several years of being a healthy young teenager, but then I relapsed at the age of 16 after my grandpa passed away.

It was clear that this mental illness, anorexia nervosa, had a strong hold on my life and, after hitting my rock bottom, I began my road of recovery by seeing a team of health professionals for help in ridding my life of the eating disorder that had so much power over me.

After years of recovery, I was able to gather all of the tools that I needed to overcome the mental illness that was once taking over my life.

Throughout my journey, my Registered Dietitian inspired me to study dietetics so I could help girls like myself some day. I began studying dietetics at Brescia University College in London, Ontario, Canada where I completed my Bachelor of Science with specialization in Food & Nutrition (BScFN). However, I knew my studies were not over.

Fortunately, I discovered the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition (CSNN) and completed their Natural Nutrition Program and graduated as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist (RHN).

Throughout my time at CSNN, I began to see food in a new light and started to truly understand how food could be used as medicine. I applied my new found knowledge to my own life and started to notice drastic results right away – the real, nutrient-dense foods that I was nourishing my body with were helping me heal my gut, improve my digestion, strengthen my mental health, clear my skin, and allow me to thrive in life with the most amount of energy I had ever experienced.

Since adopting this real food lifestyle and becoming what I like to call a “nutrient-seeker”, I have been tested and have proven that my mental wellness is strong and unbreakable, which proves to me how powerful eating real, nutrient-dense foods really is.

I specialize in helping others heal their bodies by nourishing themselves with real food. I also believe that you must nourish your mind with positive, loving thoughts for a healthy mind, which explains why clients and friends call me “the Queen of Positive Self Talk.”

After years of darkness, I am now living a life that glows with confidence, health, and happiness and it is my mission to help you do the same. I am here to empower you with the tools you need to nourish yourself, heal your body, and free yourself from whatever is holding you back from being your radiant self.
